Here are a few words about holding a FIRST and early Help-Portrait event (help-portrait.com) in Russia EVER! :)
Finally! I am more than happy to announce the ‘happy ending’ of our crazy idea of doing the H-P event in one of the Moscow orphanages!
In total we’ve spent around $40 including 143 photo prints (’’4×6), transportation (Moscow subway) and two cups of coffee to stay awake during the morning hours! =)
And now the THANKYOU part!
I would like to Thank the following people who helped me organizing and doing this whole thing:
Natalia Shishkina, Victor Pushnin, Raisa Ivanovna (the managers of orphanage #48, Moscow)
Galina, Natalia (the directors of the preschool orphanage of deadly sick children at the same orphanage)
the kids of both orphanages – extremely friendly, strong characters, what can I say – wishing them all the best ever
www.netprint.ru and personally to Yanina Nikolaeva, the business development manager
my mother – who believed and supported me from the beginning till the end of the project :)
And also: Dmitry Antonov, Evgeniya Churakaeva, Stiv Stepanov and Kirill Kivva!
Without your great support it would not be possible!
More you can find on community.help-portrait.com/group/moscowrussia (the only one existing group of Russia by now), or vkontakte.ru/club24176971 (in Russian), the ‘Russian facebook’ website. You must be registered to view the topic tree on both sites.
*As it has been agreed both between orphanage’s management and the photographers, we have promised that the photographs will NOT be published officially anywhere, in order to provide children’s social security rights, so here are just a few shots from the event, the other ones I will have to keep confidential. At least for now until the kids will grow a little :)
